Griffith Malayalees
Community Information Evening
Connecting Our Community with Trusted Local Experts
Bringing Trusted Information Together
Many families in our community ask similar questions when settling in Australia. Rather than searching across multiple organisations individually, Griffith Malayalees wanted to create one evening where trusted local experts could come together to provide reliable information, answer questions, and help families make informed decisions. This event is the result of that vision.
Our Community Asked
Members regularly approached Griffith Malayalees seeking advice on purchasing their first home, understanding mortgages, choosing schools, recognising overseas qualifications, career pathways and finding trustworthy local services.
Trusted Organisations Came Together
Griffith Malayalees approached St.George Bank with the idea of bringing together respected local organisations to answer these common questions. St.George Bank embraced the vision by organising the venue, refreshments and inviting participating organisations while Griffith Malayalees brings the community together.
About Griffith Malayalees
Griffith Malayalees is a growing community of families from Kerala, India, who now call Griffith and the surrounding region home.
Our aim is to bring people together, strengthen community connections, support new families as they settle into the region, and create opportunities for everyone to celebrate our culture while building lasting friendships.
Beyond organising cultural celebrations, we are committed to creating meaningful initiatives that connect our community with valuable local services, trusted information, and opportunities that support families at every stage of their journey.
This Community Information Evening is one example of that commitment.
Building a Stronger Community Together
Every initiative organised by Griffith Malayalees is designed to strengthen community connections and help families thrive in regional Australia. This event extends that commitment by connecting our members directly with trusted organisations and experienced professionals who can provide practical guidance for everyday life.
